Mumbai: To bolster its commercial vehicles business in the GCC region, Tata Motors launched its next-generation trucks, Prima, in UAE and Oman on Thursday, according to a release.
“The launch of the Tata Prima brand in Oman and the UAE, is an important milestone in Tata Motors’ continued expansion in the GCC region,” executive director of Commercial Vehicles Business Unit at Tata Motors Ravindra Pisharody said.
The company launched two variants of Prima, Prima 4438.S (4X2) tractor head and Prima 4038.K (6X4) Construction tipper, in UAE with dealer partners - United Diesel in Dubai and Dalma Motors in Abu Dhabi.
In Oman, the company launched three variants of Prima — Prime mover, Rigid Tipper and Tanker in the 4x2 and 6x4 configuration, with the Prima 4438.S and Prima 4038.K — with dealer partners Al Hasher & Company.
