The L.B.S. College of Engineering, Kasaragod, held an inter-department table tennis (TT) tournament for men. Both teachers and students faced each other in the singles contest.

Spectators were in for a visual treat right from the beginning of the TT tournament as College Principal Professor Mohammed Shukkoor played against the Students' Union Chairman Nandagopal in an exciting inaugural match. The principal proved his proficiency in the game with an easy win against the chairman in his first match.

A vast empty classroom in the L-Block, more commonly called Junior’s block, at the lower end of the campus, was the venue of the tournament. It was held on March 26 and lasted a few hours.
