Additional questions, extra cool-off time for Kerala SSLC, Plus Two public exams

BCI releases examination dates for All India Bar Exams

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala state government has decided to include additional questions in the SSLC and Plus Two public exam question papers.

Since students will need more time to read and understand the extra questions, the cool-off time will also be increased, a meeting chaired by Minister C Raveendranath decided. 

A model question paper will be prepared and published on the website of the Department of Education. A model examination will also be conducted. 

All the lessons for the examinations will be fully delivered to students through online classes by January 31. Arrangements will also be made for classroom studies from January 1 to March 16. 

The exams will be held from March 17 to March 30. After the written exams, a week will be allotted for preparation for the practical tests. 

Schools will be informed by December 31 about the lessons that need to be considered for classroom studies. It will also be published on the various websites of the Department of Education. Teachers should ensure the revision of these lessons. 

Special guidelines will be issued regarding support for students with disabilities. 

A parents' meeting will be convened in schools based on the classes in which their children are studying and the message of the education minister will be conveyed to them at this meeting, the Director of General Education said.  

Guidelines for continuous evaluation 

Evaluation should be done through appropriate and simple learning activities on the basis of the subjects taught. 

Participation in learning activities related to digital class, class notes, products, unit evaluations (two), etc, can be considered.
