Malayalam film actor Captain Raju who passed away on Monday had conquered the hearts of the Telugu audience as well. In the 1990s he had played villain roles in some blockbuster movies in the Telugu industry. The actor was loved by the Telugu audience for his amazing performances even though he had acted in only eight movies there.
He had acted alongside side superstars like Venkatesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi. The Telugu audience still remembers with awe the villainous character called Ranjith Kumar, played incredibly by Captain Raju in the 1991 movie 'Rowdy Alludu'.
A popular Telugu TV channel came all the way to his home at Kochi for an exclusive interview recently. The show featured actors who were once popular but later left the limelight. Raju replied both in English and Telugu even as the programme’s anchor asked questions in Telugu. The video of this interview was uploaded on internet on June 26, this year.
