Ileana D'Cruz, who was once the most sought-after actress in Tollywood, has been conspicuous with her absence from Telugu films for the last five years, but stage is set for her to make an ostentatious comeback. She will enthral her diehard fans in ace director Srinu Vaitla’s latest flick ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ which will hit screens on November 16.

She was last seen in Tollywood in renowned director Puri Jagannath’s comedy entertainer ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu, way back in 2012 in which she played the role of taxi driver. However, the film did not fare well at the box office and she has moved to Bollywood and made her Hindi debut with ‘Barfi’ directed by Anurag Basu.

Following the success of ‘Barfi’ Ileana found offers coming her way and has been busy with Hindi films ever since.

Now, since she is paired with ‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja, all eyes are on this Goan lass, who has left no stone unturned to make her comeback film a special one so that she can reclaim her place in millions of her fans’ hearts!

Interestingly, for the first time in her 12-year-long film career, Ileana has dubbed herself in Telugu for ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ in her efforts to make a mark.

This film, the fourth one with Ileana-Ravi Teja combination, has raised a lot of expectations. She has already grabbed eyeballs with her stellar performance in a song video from the film that was released recently, and her fans are apparently an excited lot. Noted music directed Thaman has rendered the tunes for the film which is being produced by Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri and M Praveen under the banner of Maithri Movie Makers.
