After the super, duper success of ‘Ok Bangaram’ and ‘Mahanati’, the new generation sensation of Malayalam films Dulquer Salman has got huge fan-following in Telugu States. Producers and directors in Tollywood seem to be out to make the best of the situation.

According to sources, noted Telugu director Indraganti Mohanakrishna is planning to rope in Dulquer for his next film that also stars Telugu hero Nani. Buoyed by the success of his last film ‘Sammohanam’ at the box office, Mohanakrishna has come out with this multi-starrer project, say our sources.

The film is being produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Venkateswara Creations.

It was earlier rumoured that Telugu actor Sharwanand would share screen space with Nani, but according to reliable sources, the makers have finalised Dulquer’s name as he would suit the character perfectly. The makers of the multi-starrer have reportedly approached Dulquer and narrated the script to the Malayalees’ heart-throb. Our sources add that after listening to the story, Dulquer was greatly impressed and gave his nod immediately.

Producer Dil Raju who was highly successful, had to undergo a lean patch due to successive failures of his big budget films and he is hopeful of making a fortune with this film and two others he has already undertaken. By roping in Dulquer, he is planning to release the film in other South Indian languages as well, we hear.

For Mohanakrishna, who bagged critical acclaims and commercial success for his ‘Sammohanam,’ this film is going to add another feather on his cap, according to our sources.

However, both Nani and Dulquer Salman are busy with other projects. So, we have to wait until both of them are free to get more on this.
