The teaser of the much-awaited Prithvaraj's directorial debut starring ace actor Mohanlal will be released on December 13. While there is nothing special in a teaser release, what is interesting here is that the teaser of a movie slated for release next year is releasing so soon. It is expected that the significance of the number 13 has forced the crew members to take this decision.
13/12/2018 may seem a normal date at first glance. But look closer, 13 is always considered to be an 'unlucky number'. Now one may wonder whether the movie is taking a risk to release the teaser on 13th to bust the myth. Well, that is not all of it guys! If we take the numbers 13 and 18 from the date, it is a strong reference to the 18th verse of the 13th chapter of Revelation in Bible where Lucifer' is mentioned. "This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666", it says.
While the number 666 is popularly regarded as Satan's number, the movie also shows a black ambassador car that Mohanlal's character is using with a '666' number plate. The posters of the movie too had put ample stress on the car. Taking these into consideration one may easily relate the release date with all these themes.
In Bible, 666 is the number, or name, of the wild beast with seven heads and ten horns that comes out of the sea.
Well, while it is not sure if the release date has anything to do with all these, it is possible that the crew members may have too taken these clues into account. Probably team 'Lucifer' is trying to break free from superstitions which people in film field are famed for.
