Ayushmann Khurana's 'naad evide' is winning hearts

The year 2018 was indeed a special one for Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurana with two big hits - Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun. And it was a special night for the actor who flew all the way to Dubai to receive his Best Actor (critics) award at the AsiaVision awards in Dubai.

During the event, when host Ranjini Haridas asked the star about his feelings on his journey in the industry, he took the mike with ease and made everyone applaud by trying to speak in Malayalam.

“Namaskaram, if you ask me naad evide (where are you from) I would say Mumbai via Chanigarh,” he said and there were loud cheers from the audience.

He went on to add, “2018 was a special year for me especially because for Andhadhun. I actually approached the director to take my screen test and I am a huge fan of director Sriram Raghavan.

Badhaai Ho! was an extremely special film because it was a tribute to all the elderly couples to keep their romance brewing. I love you all and thank you for this recognition. Elavarkum nanni (Thank you all).”

He also treated his fans by singing the song 'Pani Da Rang' from his first movie 'Vicky Donor'.
