'Ramaleela' fame director Arun Gopy is yet to come out of the shock after a close shave while riding his car the other day.
The scary incident happened as Arun and his family members were travelling from Aroor to his home in Kochi on Thursday night.
"A speeding lorry in an attempt to overtake another car, hit my car instead," Arun said.
As the lorry sped away, he later sought the help of police to track it down.
It is suspected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
A look at his damaged BMW car reveals that the collision was so intense that the occupants would have been killed if they were in a smaller vehicle.
The right portion of the car he was travelling was damaged completely.
Arun is relieved that he and his family are safe.
