Chazhoor (Thrissur): In a strange twist of fate, Sree Narayana memorial HSS, which was all set to ‘act’ as an onscreen relief camp for the filming of a movie based on last year’s devastating floods. But now, it has become a real relief camp after the torrential rains and flash floods submerged many parts of the state.

The school was one of the locations of the movie titled 'Water Level' and the crew had decided to film the relief camp scenes here.

However, as the monsoon became harsher, a reel relief camp turned out to be real one as it had opened at the school with 281 members. Earlier, the prop of a helicopter built for the shooing has been destroyed in the heavy rains.

The movie is directed by G Vishnu, a native of Chazhoor. In a twist of reality, Vishnu’s mother too had moved to the relief camp. The Malayalam movie 'Water level' was slated to hit screens this year.
