Thrissur: Malayalam actor Bhavana got engaged to Kannada producer Naveen on Thursday at a small ceremony in the presence of friends and family.
Earlier, the actress had revealed that she has been in a serious relationship with the young producer. Bhavana and Naveen were planning to get married in 2014, but it didn't happen due to Bhavana's prior commitments.

The news has come as a surprise to her fans and all are in awe of the soon-to-be married couple. Actress Manju Warrier and Samyukta Verma were present at the private ceremony along with 16 invited guests. Sources suggest that the wedding is most likely to happen in August.

Bhavana is currently shooting for Prithviraj starrer Adam and is awaiting the release of Honey Bee 2 and Adventures of Omanakuttan.
Bhavana, who began her acting career in veteran filmmaker Kamal's superhit Malayalam movie Nammal in 2002, had won the Kerala State Film Special Jury Award for her role as Parimalam in the family entertainer.
