Hyderabad: The southern leg of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) has plunged into a crisis with the Karnataka Bulldozers and Telugu Warriors threatening to boycott Sunday's match if Kerala Strikers include Madan Mohan in their playing eleven.

Bulldozers and Warriors have claimed that Madan has played in first class cricket and hence should not be part of the CCL. Kerala Strikers, meanwhile, have made it clear that Madan has not featured in any first class match and they will include him in Sunday's crucial match against Chennai Rhinos.

Kerala Strikers will make it to the semifinals if they beat Chennai and Telugu Warriors defeat Karnataka. In case Karnataka win and Kerala beat Chennai, the semifinalists will be decided on the basis of run rate.

Karnataka had raised a complaint against the inclusion of Madan in the Kerala line-up during their match in Kochi. The Kerala management had clarified that Madan was a player authorised by the CCL and there was no question of dropping him.
