Director Shyamaprasad's films usually deal with layers of complex relations people are involved in and clashes of ideologies. This time, with his latest movie Ivide, the director has turned his focus on a plot that revolves around an organised crime.
The teaser of much awaited crime drama starring Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Bhavana was released online on Monday.
The 54-second long video introduces Prithviraj as cop in the Atlanta Police Department. The move is entirely shot in the United States and obviously, the trailer has that Hollywood touch. A good majority of the cast is also from the US.
According to reports, the story of Ivide is based on the serial killing of IT professionals in major US cities.
The thriller is penned by by Ajayan Venugopalan and the film is said to be one of the costliest Malayalam films in recent times.
