Little Baahubali is a Keralite

Akshitha and Poster of the movie 'Baahubali'

Baahubali has broken many a taboos connected to Indian cinema in its run to be the biggest boxoffice hit in the sub-continent. Bulk of the actors and the crew are from different parts of the country, and movie buffs from Kerala took solace in art director Sabu Cyril and the torrential waterfalls in Athirapilly that featured in the film.

But no, the Keralite connection of the movie does not end there. Remember the little Baahubali that shone in the twilight rays above the troubled waters, Akshitha Valslan was all of 18 days when she played the infant role of our displaced warrior prince.

And if you ask the now one-and-half-year-old toddler about Baahubali, pat comes the reply "that's my movie."

Little Akshitha is the daughter of Valslan and Smitha of Neeleswaram. Her parents too din't expect that their little one would enter the cine world at such a young age.

Valslan was the production executive for the movie in the Kerala location and that's when Akshitha had the unique opportunity of being part of the movie. It took almost five days to shoot the scenes which had Akshitha in them.

And to the question whether we would see Akshitha again on the silver screen, her father had this to say, "This was totally unexpected. And if more such events were to happen, she could be seen acting again."
