Mazhavil Manorama brings in the star-studded weekend

This weekend, pamper yourself before the television set when Bollywood beauties Sunny Leone and Bipasha Basu rock the stage along with a row of stars. The Cera-Vanitha Film Awards 2016 will telecast the second part at 5 pm on Sunday.

The sirens along with a slew of celebrities from Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi sizzled the Kariavattom Greenfield Stadium in February to mark the award distribution. Zarine Khan, Hansika Motwani, Taapsee Pannu along with Kerala’s own Kavya Madhavan, Mamta Mohandas, Nikki Galrani and Honey Rose added to the glam quotient.

Pacer S. Sreesanth and young actor Neeraj Madhav too shook a leg. The show was marked by a liberal dose of humour.

Prithviraj was picked as the best actor for his soulful portrayal of the lead character in Ennu Ninte Moideen, while his co-star Parvathy was selected as the best actress, also backed by her restrained performance in Charlie.

Nivin Pauly was awarded the popular actor award for his role in Premam. Namitha Pramod is the popular actress for her roles in Amar Akbar Anthony and Adi Kapyare Koottamani.

One of the most popular award nights in Kerala, Cera-Vanitha Film Awards was sponsored by Cera, along with co-sponsors Josco Jewellers, Federal Bank, Mahalakshmi Silks, Brahmins, Chandrika, Enchanter, MRD, Vapocure Paints, Merriboy, Double Horse, Chic King, Chrysil, Dazzler, Gulf Gate, Repose, Indroyal Properties, Enstyle, Blossom, Reliance Trends, Happy and In-shape.
