Kottayam: Adding to the piracy woes of the Malayalam film industry, a Facebook page has begun to uploaded full movies on the social platform, including latest releases.

The FB page called Balcony Pictures Entertainment posted on Sunday a cam copy of Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kammattipadam, which is still running in various theatres across Kerala. The Rajeev Ravi-movie that had won rave reviews was uploaded in two parts on FB and has already got hundreds of shares.

The dubious page has also uploaded Kali- another Dulquer Salmaan movie. The FB page's shady act comes even as DVD of the DQ-Sai Pallavi movie was set to be released next week.

Global United Media has said that it would file a case against the FB page with the Cyber Cell of the Kerala Police.

Mollywood has been waging a war against piracy for long but has not been able to combat the menace.  Last year, popular movie, Premam, directed by Alphonse Puthren, had suffered a setback with the pirated version being circulated on internet, hitting its revenue.
