With unparalleled storylines, Anjali Menon has carved out a niche for herself in Mollywood. Ever since her Facebook post on scripting for Pratap Pothen in his next movie, the news has been doing the rounds on the internet.
Now, the filmmaker himself has confirmed about the project. In an exclusive interview with Manorama Online, Pratap Pothen said that the scripting has reached its final stage and the movie will soon start rolling.
“The story is basically a simple new-generation love story, which will definitely touch our hearts. The major location for shooting will be Varkala," said Pratap.
He further said, “We are yet to fix the lead actor while the rest of the cast are almost finalised. No decision has been taken on the title as well. I am sure audience will love to watch this kind of movie as one can easily relate to the thread.”
The actor is donning the director's hat almost after two decades since his last movie, Oru Yathramozhi, starring Mohanlal and Sivaji Ganeshan.
Anjali has earlier directed Prathap in the blockbuster movie Bangalore Days. Prathap has always admitted his deep admiration for Anjali and her movies.
Prathap says he is extremely proud of Anjali and is extremely happy to direct a movie based on her screenplay.
