Outside Kerala release delayed
However, Malayalam film buffs outside Kerala will have to wait a while longer to catch the movie. The ongoing dispute between distributors and theatre owners will result in the film getting releasing outside Kerala only by October 2.
Though it was released in Chennai on Saturday, theatres had to stop the screening due to the said issue.
“#EnnuNinteMoideen after doing 100% occupancy at #Mayajaal Chennai on Saturday & Sunday, stopped from Monday, due 2 pressure from producer!,” Pillai added.
Ennu Ninte Moideen was supposed to hit the screens in Kerala on Friday. The differences between Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation and Film Distributors Association over its wide release pushed the date to Saturday.
