The wait is over as the official theatrical trailer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Puli has been released on Wednesday midnight by the makers of the movie.
Unlike any of Vijay's previous films, the actor will in be seen in a whole new avatar in this fantasy period drama. The over-one-minute video begins with 'In a land ruled by darkness, there is only one ray of hope'. In no time, Vijay flashes onto the screen and the trailer gets totally captivating and action packed.
It seems that veteran actress Sridevi has an important role to play along with the two lovely ladies, Shruti Hassan and Hansika Motwani.
The rich costume and set works are an added point to the well pitched visuals.
Kamalakannan, the man responsible for Puli's special effects, had revealed that the movie will have a total of 2200 VFX shots.
Directed by Chimbu Deven, the film is slated to hit screens by next month.
