While the first teaser poster, released on Tuesday saw the on screen couple asleep on a bench with a clear blue sky and fluffy white clouds as a dreamy background; the first look have actress Alia Bhatt planting a kiss on Shahid Kapoor's cheek which spells love and romance.
The first look features Shahid, looking smart in a leather jacket and a beard, while holding the quirkily dressed Alia, who is seen planting a kiss on her co-star's cheek.
Shahid is all smiles in the poster of the film, which is directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame. The two hearts are also seen in the first look, suggesting that the movie will be truly a romantic one at heart.
Shaandaar, releasing on October 22nd amid the hustle and bustle of Dussehra is a new romantic comedy film that has been tagged as bollywood’s first 'destination wedding' film. It tells the story of two insomniacs who fall in love at a destination wedding. The film also stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor and Shahid's sister Sanah Kapoor in pivotal roles.
