Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan has been attacked by allegedly angry fans of legendary Tamil star Kamal Haasan soon after he came out of the Madurai Airport on Sunday.
According to reports, the mob surrounded Sivakarthikeyan and his accomplice at the main exit of the airport and manhandled the young star. Sources suggests that the incident occurred when the actor was on his way to Tiruchendur to attend a function along with actors Kamal Haasan and Hansika Motwani.
Videos of the men pushing Sivakarthikeyan went viral on the internet and fans took to Twitter to express their support for Sivakarthikeyan and in no time, the hashtag #WeSupportSivaKarthikeyan started trending.
The reason behind the attack is not known yet and Sivakarthikeyan has not responded to the incident so far.
