A few days back, when media fed us with confirmations on the 'alleged split' between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, no one knew the exact reason behind their breakup. It was then that Virat took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself, hinting about the break-up.
While Anushka has immersed herself in work, Virat has taken a break and is currently chilling at home. But it seems there were other underlying issues between the ex-couple, which ultimately led to their split.
Earlier this week, Virat attended a party and during the celebration, he had opened up about his relationship with Anushka to a few close friends. According to a tabloid report, a guest at the party said that when they were a couple, Anoushka used to be a "controlling girlfriend." However, time was an issue too. The source further revealed that the duo were spending little time together, with too much pressure on him to behave himself.
Virat had unfollowed Anushka on both Instagram and Twitter, a fact that did not escape the notice of fan clubs and the tabloid hawks. Nevertheless, Anushka is still a 'follower' of the star batsman.
