What all Mohanlal revealed in live video

The shooting of 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham', starring Mohanlal has concluded. The actor himself confirmed the news through a live Facebook video from Hyderabad.

Shooting for 'Marakaar' was a herculean task, said Mohanlal. “It's a very big movie in which (director) Priyadarshan perfectly merged history with enough drama. The film is so big that it would have need a year, at least, but we shot in 110 days which was the biggest challenge.”

The film was being shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The cast includes big names like Prabhu, Suniel Shetty, Arjun, Manju Warrier, Innocent, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh.

“Although the major shoot is finished, the movie will hit the screens only by December. The team wants to make sure that the film comes out in the best possible manner and hence they need sometime for its post production work,” said Mohanlal.

Rumours ahead of announcement

When Mohanlal at first announced that he will appear in a live video, netizens were anxious as to whether he is going to announce his political entry as the country is in election mode. Talking about it he said, “I have been in the acting field for the past 41 years and have always maintained my disinterest towards joining any political party. I can do things only which I know. Politics is far away from my knowledge. Just because I have acted in a few films, I can't enter into politics.”

He also clarified that he won't be joining politics anytime soon and further stated that in other states politics and art go hand-in-hand but people in Kerala have a different view about politics.

Nothing extraordinary

Mohanlal

Fans are curious as to how a typical day of a superstar like Mohanlal is like. Just like every other normal human being, Mohanlal said.

“See it depends, if it's a Priyadarshan movie, he would begin by 7 am and so I will wake up at around 5.30. Else, if I have no schedule, I would sleep till 8 am. If possible, I would go to gym. But I take some time to get ready. I am a foodie but I don't have regular coffee or breakfast habits. I love sleeping and hence I go to bed by 10-10.30 in night. If there are friends and family around, it might take long but I make sure that I get 6-7 hours of sleep,” he explained.
