Chemban Vinod to get hitched next month, says not interested in posting pics

The social media is abuzz with the news of actor Chemban Vinod Jose's wedding. The actor confirmed that he would get married to Mariyam Thomas next month. However, he didn’t reveal the date or venue of the marriage.

A native of Kottayam, Mariyam is a psychologist by profession. Meanwhile, the pictures of the bride and the procedures of their wedding registration are doing the rounds on the social media.

“It is true that I am getting married next month. I noticed that the news of my marriage was doing the rounds on the social media. However, the pictures didn’t come out with my permission or knowledge. It is a mischief done by someone," he said.

Further he added, "I am not interested in publishing the pictures on the social media without my permission. I cannot reveal anything about the wedding date. I will let everyone know when the time is right. I just wish for your prayers.”

Chemban Vinod made his entry into Malayalam cinema in 2010 through the movie Nayakan directed by Lijo Jose Pellisery. He then went on to star in Lijo's critically acclaimed movies like Ee Ma Yau and Jallikettu. His performance in Saptamasree Thaskara’ directed by Anil Radhakrishna Menon too had grabbed attention. He excelled in supporting and villain roles in many movies. Chemban Vinod won the award for the best actor at the Goa International Film Festival of India in 2018. 

He was recently seen in Anwar Rasheed's much hyped movie Trance.

Chemban Vinod Jose was earlier married to Sunitha, who is a physiotherapist based in New York City and the couple have a son named John Chris Chemban. The duo got divorced recently.
