Jyothika's 'Magalir Mattum' movie: audience review

A still from the movie

Magalir Mattum (Ladies Only) as the title indicates is the story of four women. The movie directed by Bramma has Jyothika playing the lead role of Prabhavati. Supporting her are veteran actresses Saranya Ponvannan, Urvasi and Bhanupriya.

Interestingly, Jyothika has dubbed for herself for the first time and her brother-in-law and actor Karthi has also sung a song in the movie.

Ghibran has scored music. S. Manikandan is the cinematographer and the movie is produced by Suriya’s 2D entertainment.

Going by the teasers and song promos, it seems Magalir Mattum is a feel good entertainer with lots of humour.

Plot: The film is about four women who decide to live for themselves for 72 hours. They embark on a journey with no plans in mind and the film is about how they re-discover their lost self.

Meanwhile, the early reports suggests that the movie has managed to impress viewers giving a thumps up to the makers.
