'Anegan': Audience review

A still from the movie

Last week it was Shamitabh and this week Dhanush is back with Anegan. The movie, releasing a day before 'Valentine's Day' claims to be a romantic thriller. Directed by K.V. Anand, Anegan, will hit 400 screens in Tamil Nadu alone and 91 theatres in Kerala which is the highest-ever release for Dhanush.

The Twitter is already abuzz with 140-character reviews of the movie, many have given thumbs-up to Dhanush and the thrilling narration of the movie. Karthik's performance has also won accolades of movie buffs.

Audience inside the theaters are dancing to the tunes of Harris Jayaraj. The background scores by him have also impressed the tweeteraties.

However, some of the fans felt that KVA, who won National Award for Best Cinematographer for his work in Thenmavin Kombath, failed to execute a brilliant idea by not giving much thought into the screeplay.

Viwerers also complained about a dragging pre-climax sequence.

The Twitteratie verdict: The movie is worth watching for performances of Dhanush and Karthik and stunning visuals, but KVA left the audience wishing for a tighter screenplay.
