Lijo Jose Pellissery's Double Barrel has been in the news ever since the project was announced, courtesy the success of the director's previous film Amen.
The experimental genre, star-studded cast, unique posters and catchy teasers succeeded in raising the curiosity and expectations of the viewers.
However, Double Barrel, which hit the screens on Friday, has garnered mixed reviews. While several viewers have applauded the visuals, most have pointed out the weak plot as a major disappointment.
