Over the years, young talents have given rise to experimentations in popular music. Hip-hop as a genre, too has made serious inroads into Kerala.
Thaka Thi Thei
Thanks to efforts of various artists, Mollywood too has blossomed in rap genre. The recently released track Thaka Thi Thei has been grabbing attention for all the right reasons.
The almost 4-minutes long video is conceived and directed by Jithan V Soubhagom, who had assisted in a couple of Malayalam movies and had also been seen in supporting roles.
The song and team
Focusing on humanity, the energetic song is penned, tuned, sung and programmed by AK#.
It aims to bring together people from different sects of society and gives a message that standing together is what matters. Talking about the video, director Jithan mentioned that the video stands true to the work and it was indeed a team effort. He also credited each and every members who worked behind the musical.
The rustic frames that gives away the right feel has been set by Akhil Krishna.
