Even after four years, Why this Kolaveri Di from the Tamil movie 3 has not lost its magic — the latest in the list to follow the tune are none other than Coca Cola, the world's largest producer of soft drink syrups and juice products.
Coca Cola picked up the tune for their Turkish ad. They on May 4, 2015 posted the new advertisement on YouTube, in which the Kolaveri tune is taken to the beach and given a different twist with the Turkish lyrics.
While the real Tamil song's featured actor Dhanush singing over the pathetic situation of men being in a soup over relationships, the Turkish ad — in complete contrast — shows a pack of men trying to woo a group of women in a beach party.
The catch phrase Why this Kolaveri di was replaced with Aç Bir Koka Kola, Koka Kola, Koka Kola İç.
