Grammys 2016: Singing the night off

They descended upon the Grammy crowd with boisterous energy, and all they wanted was to take them all down with their voice.

For the 58th Grammy awards, it was proved once again that the event isn't just about winning and losing but how well you take on the crowd too. Among the performers who took the Grammy stage by storm, some won unrestrained accolades, while some others suffered grave technical glitches. There were tributes made to late David Bowe and B.B. King. And as always, the Grammy music was a show of colours, zest and spirit.

Taylor Swift performed just as effortlessly as she packed the awards this year in her Grammy kitty. She stamped her talent on everyone's mind when she took to the stage to croon 'Out of the Woods'.

American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato elicited just the right reaction from music legend Lionel Richie when she sang 'Hello' from his album 'Can't Slow Down'. John Legend, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor and Tyrese came together to pay tribute to Lionel Richie and his work with 'The Commodores'.

Adele, as spectacular as she always is, fell victim to the technical glitches and that became a huge bubble-buster for the talented singer.

However, she withstood the storm and impressed with her voice. Twitterati had sent feelers all around by the time Adele was done with her rendition.

Lady Gaga, as always stood out on the red carpet yet again with her ravenous red high heels embodying an uptown funk with red hair and blue dress. But the singer, who had been moved deeply by the demise of legendary musician David Bowe was all set to give him a befitting tribute.

Pitbull, who performed with many others including a sexy Sofia Vergara, had more ousters than takers.

Justin Bieber, the controversial prince of pop, who also won his first Grammy, as usual brought in both good as well as awful comments.

Johny Depp performed with along with Keith Richards and Alice Cooper, and it seems like all's not well with the stringing and singing.

Another good performance came from the Grammy-winning American rock band Alabama Shakes. People took to their songs and were happily making merry singing along.
