Katy Perry refuels Nicki Minaj-Taylor Swift Twitter spat

Here's a heads-up in case you haven’t heard about the ongoing feud between top musicians of the West: Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj found themselves in the midst of a Twitter war when Minaj wasn’t nominated for the VMA’s Best Music Video category and Taylor Swift was.

Minaj had exclaimed discontent against the nominations for the Video Music Awards 'Video Of The Year'. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars were among the nominees. Minaj was not on the list for her hit song 'Anaconda' though the song did make it for 'Best Hip Hop Video' and 'Best Female Video'.

In her words, 'if videos celebrate women with slim bodies, they get nominated'.

Soon, Taylor swift jumped the gun thinking that this statement of Minaj was about her. Minaj and Taylor quickly buried the hatchet and cleared up the misunderstanding with the former tweeting that she loves Swift. On the other hand, Swift invited Minaj to come up on stage with her, provided Swift wins the title.

Many Celebrities took it to Twitter and made some 'harmless' jokes but Katy Perry's tweet was definitely not a joke.

No doubts, this is an obvious dig at Taylor Swift, who's hit song 'Bad Blood' is supposedly about Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's former friendship. Coincidentally, this is the very Video that garnered Swift her nomination for this year's 'Video Of The Year'.
