The expectations will surely be high when you have the names of Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese and Dhyan Sreenivasan associated with a movie.

Without failing such expectations, the makers of Kunjiramayanam released their first song online on Monday – a pre-wedding song, as they call it.

The 2 minute 30 second-long video of Thumba Poove shows the lead characters from the fictitious land of simpletons.

Sung by Shankar Mahadevan, the song features romantic moments between the pair of Vineeth and Srindha.

Through his moves and costumes of of 1980s, Vineeth reminds us of his father Sreenivasan in the hilarious Pavizhamalli Poothulanje Neelavaanam from Sanmans Ullavark Samadhanam.

The dance sequence, the setting and the character appearances suggest that Kunjiramayanam will be an out-and-out entertainer.

Directed by debutant Basil Joseph, Kunjiramayanam is musician Justin Prabhakaran's first outing in Malayalam as composer. The lyrics are penned by Manu Manjith.
