Kochi: The first song of the upcoming Malayalam flick 'Peruchazhi,' starring Mohanlal, has been released. The song 'Adichu Polikkam' showcases Mohanlal, Aju Varghese, Baburaj and Mukesh and is sung by Karthik and Navin Arrora. Arrora had also composed the music for the movie.
'Peruchazhi' will hit the screens worldwide on August 29 for Onam. In order to cater to audiences outside Kerala, the subtitles for the movie have been provided by film's distributors Fox Star Studios. The movie was primarily filmed in the U.S.A. Incidentally, 'Peruchazhi' is the first Malayalam film to be associated with the Fox Star production house.
The song introduces Mohanlal as Jagannathan and his aides, Pottakkuzhy Jabbar (Baburaj) and (Vayalar Varkey), who are very ambitious despite not being qualified politicians.
Written and directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, 'Peruchazhy' claims to be a political satire. The film is produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Films.
