With just hours to go before the much-awaited ICC World Cup match between India and South Africa, makers of the upcoming Bollywood flick 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' have come up with a tributary song for the Indian team, titled 'Phir Se'.
The film's director Neeraj Pandey, an avid cricket fan, himself worked on the song and the video that shows some of Team India's best moments from the last World Cup, which they won.
'Phir Se', crooned by Divya Kumar, was composed by M M Kreem and has lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir.
"The idea was to sum up the mood and emotion for the entire nation. 'Phir Se' is an anthem, plea, prayer, dream all rolled in one. And M M Kreem (composer) and Manoj Muntashir (lyricist) have done this beautifully," Pandey said in a statement.
'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', the Indian captain's biopic, is produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment.
"It is a high octane tribute song that the team of the film is dedicating to the Indian cricket team - an anthem to celebrate and support Team India!" said Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios.
The film is set for an October 22 release.
