Shoojit Sircar’s Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan has managed to win hearts with the cute and funny trailer and was received well by audience. And now, the makers have come up with a video of the journey song from the film.
The song titled as ‘The Journey Song’ shows the protagonists Amitabh, Deepika and Irrfan as they set out on a memorable road trip. The 2 minutes song looks extremely adorable as Irrfan and Deepika romance through their eyes with a catchy hummable tune playing in the background. Deepika also seems to be sharing a wonderful father-daughter chemistry with Amitabh Bachchan.
The breezy song marks the Bollywood debut of musician Anupam Roy from Tollywood singing along with sensational Shreya Ghoshal.
With it's soothing lyrics and fresh tune, the song teaser is already a hit on social media.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi, Piku is slated for release on May 8.
