Cheesecake crumble

It's fluffy and creamy topped with crumbled butter biscuits and brown sugar. With a layer of cheesecake, this dessert is the right one to make for a quick party. Here is the recipe.


1 cup cream cheese €“ 1 cup

1 ½ cup sugar

½ cup thick cream

4 eggs

1 small spoon vanilla essence

2 small spoons lemon zest

2 large spoons orange zest

For topping

¾ cups butter biscuit crumbled

3 large spoons oats

50 gms, melted butter

1 large spoon brown sugar

1 pinch salt


Pre-heat oven to 180 degree Celsius.

Grease the baking pan.

Blend cream cheese and sugar, and add thick cream, blending further.

Add eggs to the mixture and beat again.

After adding the vanilla, lemon zest and orange zest, pour into the greased pan.

Place this pan into a larger pan, which is to be filled 2/3 with water.

Bake in the pre-heated oven till the mixture gets set. Add boiled water into the large pan, if necessary (Bake for 1 €“ 1 ½ hours) .

After switching the oven off, keep the door open.

Take the cheese cake out after cooling down and refrigerate for two hours or overnight.

Mix the crumbled butter biscuits, oats, brown sugar and salt together to make the crumble and layer over the cheese cake carefully, and return to the refrigerator.

Serve after refrigeration.
