½ kg beef
1 cup yellow dal
2 onions
1 inch piece of ginger
1 garlic bulb
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp black pepper corns
5 red chillies
1 tbsp coriander
1 tbsp garam masala
½ cup coriander leaves
¼ cup mint leaves
Salt as required
Oil as required
2 eggs


Into a thick bottomed vessel add the beef, yellow dal, ginger, garlic, onion, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, coriander, red chillies, and salt as required
Add 1 ½ cup water and cook for 35-40 minutes on medium flame with the lid on
After the beef and the yellow dal have cooked well and the water begins to reduce, turn off the heat. Allow the mixture to cool down
Add coriander leaves, mint leaves and garam masala and mix well
Add this into a blender and mince the beef mixture well into a coarse paste
Mix in the eggs as well
Make balls from this mixture and flatten them into cutlet shapes
Heat 3 table spoons oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs by flipping it
Both the sides of the kebab should be fried well.
