The demand for ice creams soars during the blazing summers. Instead of enjoying the store bought ice creams, it is easy to prepare delicious ice creams at home.

In her latest vlog, culinary expert Lakshmi Nair shows how to prepare four different flavours of ice-cream using a single base. In this recipe, she has prepared the mango, strawberry, vanilla, and cookies and cream flavours.

Ingredients
2 cups whipping cream
10-12 fresh strawberries
2 tbsp sugar
¼ cup water
½ cup fresh cream
1 tin condensed milk
¼ tsp mango essence
¼ tsp strawberry essence
¼ tsp vanilla essence

Preparation
Whip the whipping cream nicely using an electric blender
Add the fresh cream and whip well
Now add the condensed milk and continue whipping. This is the ice cream base
To prepare the strawberry puree, cook 10-12 strawberries with sugar and water
After this has cooled down, blend the strawberries in a mixer jar
For the mango puree, blend the mango pieces with sugar in a mixer jar
Crumble 6-7 oreo cookies for the cookies and cream flavour
Now divide the ice cream base in four bowls
Into a bowl take two cups ice cream base and add the mango puree into it
Mix well using a spatula
Add ¼ tsp mango essence as well
Mix well
In another bowl, take the ice cream base and add the strawberry puree
Mix well
Now add the strawberry essence and mix well using spatula
Similarly, into two cups ice cream base add the crumbled oreo cookies and some vanilla essence as well
Mix well
Spread some crumbled cookies on top of it as garnish
Finally add the vanilla essence into the ice cream base to prepare the basic vanilla flavoured ice cream
Transfer the ice creams into air tight containers
Pop them in the freezer for at least 6-8 hours.

Notes
Around 8 cups of ice cream in different flavours could be prepared using two cups whipping cream.
