No matter what their political equations are with Kerala, the palatal equations of the state never fail to win the hearts of the saffron leaders. Be it prime minister Narendra Modi, or senior BJP leader L.K. Advani.
Kerala's own yummy-licious palada pradhaman could easily melt BJP's iron man Advani as he savored a traditional Kerala feast during his recent visit to the state. A full-fledged sadya was served to Advani and his daughter Prathibha at the Coconut Lagoon resort in Kumarakom, Kottayam. Advani and family were on a private visit to Kerala.
Advani, along with Prathibha who was beautifully draped in a traditional Kerala saree, relished the sadya served on plantain leaves Saturday. They were served pappad, avial, sambar, pachadi along with other curries, followed by palada pradhaman as dessert.
After the meal, Advani said he really liked the flavors of Kerala cuisine.
A thiruvathira performance was also organized for the Advani family at the resort. He planted a red sandalwood sapling at the hotel premises before returning on Sunday.
