The Walk About by Guestronomy all set to thrill foodies in Kochi

The Walk About is a unique gastronomic experience presented by the Guestronomy in Kochi. They have been introducing fabulous dishes and culinary styles from around the world in the last two editions of the food fest. Chef Gerald Sheeran based in Brisbane curates this year’s Walk About. Meanwhile, the foodies are looking forward to try some flavoursome Asian street food and enjoy the nuanced style of Australian cuisine.

The chef said that the Walk About explores the various Asian-Australian flavours that he had experienced during his travels. Sareeka John and Payal Bafna are behind Guestronomy which organizes the Walk About in Kochi from 17-20 December. The duo said that the food fest would be organized by strictly following the COVID-19 protocols.

Mangalorean oota and the spices route

Food unites people and cultures. Guestronomy, in their events, makes sure that their guests enjoy their food by knowing and feeling them. Well-known chefs from around the world have served food at the various events organized by Guestronomy.

The theme for the first edition held in 2019 October was the Mangalorean oota. The delicious dishes were prepared by Chef Shreya Shetty. 

Meanwhile, the second edition of the event, the spice route, had celebrated the spectacular history of the spices. The dishes had a unique tale to tell about each spice. The Spice Route was curated by chefs Johnson, Ebenezer, Maitreyi Iyer and Avinash Vishan. Every dish at The Walk About would take the guests to a unique journey of culinary marvel.

The seats are limited; so you have to book early to grab seats at the event. The registration fee for The Walk About is Rs 2250 plus GST per head.
