Australian PM makes 'samosas' and chutney for PM Modi

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison is thrilled to make some crunchy samosas and delicious mango chutney for his Indian counterpart. He prepared the Indian snack as a 'prelude' to his meeting with Narendra Modi via videolink on 4 June.

Tweeting the pictures of the samosas Morrison wrote, "Sunday Samosas with mango chutney, all made from scratch – including the chutney! A pity my meeting with @narendramodi this week is by videolink. They’re vegetarian, I would have liked to share them with him."

Morrison's words reflect the incredible friendship that the two countries share. Meanwhile, Narendra Modi appreciated Morrison's efforts by saying, "Connected by the Indian Ocean, united by the Indian samosas. Looks delicious, PM @ScottMorrisonMP! Once we achieve a decisive victory against COVID-19, we will enjoy the samosas together. Looking forward to our video meet on the 4th."
