It's summer and curd is the perfect ingredient for a quick lunch. What if you add gooseberry in it and give it a twist? Yummy right? Try the recipe this Vishu and have a perfect sadya this year.
Ingredients
5 gooseberries
Water as required
Salt as required
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenugreek
4 shallots (finely chopped)
Curry leaves as required
1 tsp chilli powder
1 cup yogurt
Preparation
Cook the gooseberries with water and salt
Take out the pits and cut into small pieces
Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek, shallots and curry leaves
Into it add the chilli powder and stir for 2 minutes on low flame
Allow it to cool down
Add the cooked gooseberry pieces into the yogurt
Add this into the roasted chilli mixture and mix well.
