Iftar special meat boxes

Meat box is an extremely tasty snack that can spice up your next iftar party. It is a healthy dish to break your fast as it contains very less oil. Check out this easy recipe of delicious meat box.

Ingredients
1 cup chicken (cooked with turmeric powder and salt and shredded)
1 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
2 green chillies
1 cup onion (chopped)
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt as required
2 tbsp oil
¾ cup all purpose flour
1 egg
1 and 1 ½ cups water
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves

Preparation
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, green chillies and ginger - garlic paste.
Into it add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt as required.
Sauté until the raw smell is off.
Add the cooked and shredded chicken and roast well.
Add curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves.
Mix well and turn off the flame.
Take all purpose flour, egg and salt in a bowl.
Pour enough water and mix it into batter.
Rub oil on a pan and pour a spoon full of batter to prepare dosa.
Place some chicken mixture in the centre of each dosa and fold the edges to make it into a box.
Dip each meat box in beaten egg and shallow fry in little oil.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with ketchup or fresh coriander chutney.
