Crispy fried corn is a delicious and healthy tea time snack that would be loved by the kids and the grown-ups alike. Here is how you could easily make this crispy fried corn.
Ingredients
2 corncobs
2 tbsp corn flour
1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
½ tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
2 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt as required
Preparation
Separate the corn kernels
Boil the corn kernels in some water for at least 5 minutes
Spread the cooked corn kernels on a clean piece of cloth to dry them
Transfer these into a vessel
Add corn flour and mix well
Fry the corn kernels in hot oil
To prepare the masala, sauté onion and garlic
Into it add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt
Mix well and turn off the flame
Into the masala add the fried corn kernels, lemon juice and coriander leaves
Give everything a good mix
Crispy fried corn tastes best when served hot.
