Special paal kappa with bird's eye chillies

Paal Kappa is a simple dish that is easy to prepare and can be enjoyed with fish curry. Check out the recipe of paal kappa with bird's eye chillies.

½ kg tapioca

1 small piece ginger

3 bird's eye chillies

1 cup coconut milk

2 shallots

1 green chilli

1 dried chilli


Coconut oil

Curry leaves


Cut the tapioca into small pieces and boil them with some salt

Crush the bird's eye chillies and ginger

Mix this in the coconut milk

Add some curry leaves into the drained tapioca

Meanwhile, boil water in a pan

Add the tapioca pieces when the water begins to boil

Into it add the spiced coconut milk

Mix well

Turn off the flame and transfer the dish into a vessel

Prepare the tempering by spluttering mustard seeds

Roast green chilli, dried chilli and shallots

Add this tempering into the paal kappa

Mix well and enjoy.
