Mysore masala dosa


Mysore masala dosa is known for its crispy edges and delicious filling. Here is how you can make Mysore masala dosa at home.


1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
2 onions (chopped)
1 small tomato (diced)
2 potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 tsp salt
100 ml water


Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and urad dal
Add ginger, green chilies and onions
Sauté for at least 3 minutes
Into it add salt and tomatoes 
Sauté well
Now add the mashed potatoes and water too
Boil this until the gravy thickens up
Make thin dosas by rubbing some ghee
Spread chilli chutney on the dosa
Finally, spread this masala filling and fold the dosa
Enjoy the Mysore masala dosa with sambar and chutney.
