'Thattil kutti dosa' with garlic chutney

Thattil kutti dosa, inspired from the superhit movie 'Salt n Pepper' tastes amazing with spicy and flavoursome garlic chutney. Check out the recipes.

Ingredients
3 cup idli rice
1 cup urad dal
For the garlic chutney
Shallots
Dried chillies
Coconut oil
Tamarind
1 cup grated coconut
2 green chillies
3 garlic cloves
1 sprig coriander leaves

Preparation
Soak the idli rice and urad dal for at least 8 hours
Grind them into smooth batter
Keep this batter aside for at least 6 hours for it to rise
Take the required batter and mix some water in it
When the pan is hot, pour a ladle full of batter
However, do not spread the batter like a regular dosa
Sprinkle 1 tsp oil before flipping the dosa
Cook until both the sides are nicely cooked and are light brown
To prepare the garlic chutney
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Sauté the shallots, garlic and dried chillies
Grind this sautéed mixture along with tamarind and salt in a mixer jar
Note that this is a spicy mixture
Now add the grated coconut, green chillies, 3 more garlic cloves and coriander leaves
Grind well
You could use this chutney without adding a tempering
