Vermicelli pakkavada is a crispy and crunchy snack that pairs perfectly with your evening tea. Here is how you could prepare vermicelli pakkavada at home.

Ingredients

1 cup vermicelli
3 cups of water
1 onion
1 small piece of ginger
3 cloves garlic
2 green chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
½ tsp curry leaves
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp semolina
¾ cup gram flour
Salt as required
Oil to fry

Preparation

Cook the vermicelli in some water
Into a bowl add all the ingredients together
Mix well 
Scoop some batter and shape it into pakkavada
Deep fry in hot oil until the snack turns brown and crunchy.
