4 idlis (leftover)
4 cutlets (made from leftover
vegetables, fish or meat)
4 tomatoes (sliced)
1 salad cucumber (sliced)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
Cut the idlis in half
Prepare cutlets by mixing leftover
vegetables, fish or meat with mashed potatoes, shallots, green
chillies and coriander leaves.
Fry the cutlets to golden brown.
Smear butter on each half of the idli
and sprinkle some chilli powder.
Roast these idli slices lightly on a
Spread some ketchup on the bottom idli
Place a slice of tomato and salad
cucumber followed by a cutlet.
Again place a tomato slice and salad
cucumber over it.
Finish the burger on top of the idli
smeared with butter.
Press the burger lightly and secure it
by inserting a tooth pick.
