Easy chicken cake in pan for this year's Eid

If you are bored with the usual chicken dishes, here is a unique chicken cake which is spicy and delicious. You don't need an oven to prepare this special chicken cake as you can cook it in a regular frying pan. Check out this amazing recipe of chicken cake which is delicious enough to be the centre piece of your Eid feast.


250 gms chicken

4 eggs

1 onion (finely chopped)

2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chillies paste

½ tsp garam masala

1 tsp black pepper powder

Salt as required

Coriander leaves as required

Coconut oil



Cook the chicken with salt and pepper. Shred the cooked chicken.

Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté the onions. Into it add the ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and sauté well.

Now add the shredded chicken, garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix well.

Add the chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and set this mixture aside.

Beat the eggs by adding salt and pepper. The eggs should be nicely beaten until they are frothy.

4 eggs could be added for 250 gms chicken.

Add the chicken mix into the beaten eggs.

Grease a pan using butter and pour the chicken €“ egg mix into it.

Cook for 15 €“ 20 minutes on low flame with the lid on.
